25cm x 25cm original artwork of my piece for the peachtober prompt of Leaf! This artwork is a sweet nature scene of a patch of clover with a star beetle sitting on a large four leaf clover illuminated in the center. There are some stars and sparkles in a circle around this clover. It was painted with holbein acryla gouache paints. Caran d’ache neocolour 2 wax crayons were used over the top for textural details. This artwork has been sealed with Windsor & Newton professional fixative spray. To ensure longevity of colours it is best to display in a frame behind glass away from direct natural light.
