30cm x 30cm original artwork of my piece for the prompt, snowflake! This artwork is of a snowy mountainous landscape with the star beetle on a snowflake in the foreground! It was painted with holbein acryla gouache paints. Caran d’ache neocolour 2 wax crayons were used over the top for textural details. This artwork has been sealed with Windsor & Newton professional fixative spray. To ensure longevity of colours it is best to display in a frame behind glass away from direct natural light.
